For three weeks in January 2014, eight Calvin College students will travel to Hyderabad, India for some experiential education.  The students – majoring in accounting, finance and marketing – will engage with professionals at four Hyderabad businesses. Some students will be at a large microfinance company, others at a web technology company, others at a clinical trial company and one student will focus on the dance business and education.  All of them will be connected with Christian business owners or managers and be learning the concept of “business as mission.” This is possible via a partnership between Calvin and Partners Worldwide. Business professor Leonard Van Drunen and his wife, Karen, are leading the trip, and everyone on the trip will be writing in the blog. Stay tuned …
